Speak naturally. Keep only what is useful
On Core and Plus, you can start a spoken capture, review the transcript, edit it, and decide what to save. The live transcription path can automatically detect the spoken language; results can vary with language, accent, recording quality, and provider availability.
An optional short or medium journal summary can be requested after transcription. That request sends the relevant entry text to the configured AI provider. Simply opening or writing in the Journal does not invoke AI.

Natural input, not an ambient listener
The microphone starts only when you start it. The flow is simple: speak, stop, inspect the transcript, correct anything that needs correction, and choose whether to save it.
Voice capacity is measured because recordings, replies, and narration create real provider costs. Core is sized for occasional deliberate use; Plus provides more room. Every text tool continues when voice capacity pauses.
AI is a requested service, not the journal itself
The Journal remains a normal writing space. A summary is generated only after a person deliberately asks for one, and the result can be edited or ignored.
Macro Focus does not describe this as free AI journaling because that would be false. The provider-free fallback intentionally makes zero paid AI and voice calls.
The no-charge fallback is real—and bounded
Limited Access keeps one manual Focus aim and goal with up to three total steps, up to 50 active text Notes, 30 active Journal entries, finite text Wisdom, and the locally scored Big Five 120 assessment. It makes no paid AI or voice-provider calls.
What the card-backed trial actually does
Nothing is charged today. The selected Core or Plus plan begins automatically after 14 days unless you cancel in Settings. Cancel during the trial and complete access continues through its end; the account then moves to Limited Access with no scheduled expiry or recurring charge while the account and service remain available.

Does multilingual transcription guarantee perfect accuracy?
No. The live provider can automatically detect language, but transcription quality varies. The transcript remains editable before it is saved.
Is voice unlimited?
No. Core and Plus both use visible, measured voice capacity, with more room on Plus. Text features continue when the voice allowance pauses.
