Private storage and deliberate requests
Covered personal text
Many retained personal text fields are encrypted on the device before persistent storage. Account basics and limited operational fields remain readable so the service can run.

- Opening a tool does not itself submit its contents to the companion.
- No ads or sale of private content.
A response is a deliberate request
- The submitted moment is sent readable to the configured AI provider for that request.
- Kept context may accompany future requests only when memory context is on.
- Nothing new enters the vault unless you choose Keep.
