Calm personal planning

Enough structure to act. Enough room to change your mind

Macro Focus can hold a chosen aim, the structure beneath it, and direct weekly steps. Notes and Journal can preserve what happened, so planning does not become detached from experience.

It is intentionally not a complete calendar, automatic scheduler, project-management suite, or team task system. If those are the main need, a dedicated planner such as Hello Momentum or Sunsama will usually be more complete.

The exact boundary

Free usefulness and paid provider services are separated here so the page does not imply that AI, voice, or advanced synthesis has no cost.

What Core and Plus add

  • More active aims and supporting structure
  • Requested AI assistance and tentative Patterns
  • Smart reminders, voice, attachments, and the complete product context

Planning that can meet reality

A plan is useful until reality supplies better information. Macro Focus keeps the aim and the experience close enough that a weekly step can be resumed, changed, parked, or released without treating revision as failure.

This is a better fit for meaningful personal undertakings than for coordinating a large work backlog or optimizing every hour of a calendar.

The page stays quieter than the ambition

The product does not reward filling every surface. One direction can remain visible while supporting details stay nearby rather than competing for attention.

Notifications are controlled and off by default. No absence automatically creates emotional rescue language or a stack of missed work.

The no-charge fallback is real—and bounded

Limited Access keeps one manual Focus aim and goal with up to three total steps, up to 50 active text Notes, 30 active Journal entries, finite text Wisdom, and the locally scored Big Five 120 assessment. It makes no paid AI or voice-provider calls.

What the card-backed trial actually does

Nothing is charged today. The selected Core or Plus plan begins automatically after 14 days unless you cancel in Settings. Cancel during the trial and complete access continues through its end; the account then moves to Limited Access with no scheduled expiry or recurring charge while the account and service remain available.

Questions worth answering plainly

Limits and exclusions are part of the product choice, not fine print after it.

Does Macro Focus automatically schedule my day?

No. It supports chosen aims, goals, weekly steps, and dated Notes, but it does not automatically rearrange a calendar or import a work backlog.

What happens after time away?

There is no catch-up queue or broken streak. The current direction and retained context remain available so the person can decide what is still true now.
